Capital Markets Council
Convenes to discuss market trends and forecasts.
The Capital Markets Council serves as a platform to discuss issues related to land use capital and provides creative thought leadership around development financing in the Los Angeles region. The Council hosts the annual Emerging Trends Conference in Los Angeles.
Housing Council
Educates and informs housing industry leaders by developing and sharing solutions addressing the housing challenges facing the region.
The Housing Council convenes leaders in housing development to exchange information and share best practices. They have four Sub-Committees: Homelessness, Affordability, Missing Middle and Public Sector/Policy.
Innovation Council
Explores the future of the built environment, promoting innovation in shaping our region’s future.
The Innovation Council serves as a forum to advance holistic approaches to sustainable, resilient, operational, and affordable innovations in technology, design, construction, and policy. In addition to exploring how innovation will affect and should improve our cities, this Council is taking the lead on progressing the District Council’s and the region’s net zero carbon goals.
Homelessness Initiative Council
The Homelessness Initiative Council (Formerly the Land Use Leadership Council) is made up of key senior leaders in ULI Los Angeles. They help set our strategic direction and priorities and is taking the lead on the District Council’s program focused on Homelessness. The Council has three Strategic priorities:
- Reducing the Cost of Providing Housing
- Homelessness Summit 2.0
- Homelessness Policy Issues
Key areas of expertise on the Council include Design, Construction, Finance and Policy
Leadership Council
The goal of the Leadership Council is to create an environment for engaged sharing and learning to elevate each member’s leadership effectiveness in his or her business, community, and personal life. This increased awareness and insight into each member’s leadership capabilities will also affect how they perform on or in any team, project, endeavor or relationship.
