Embedded in ULI’s mission to “shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide” is a call to leadership for members of our industry.  The ULI LA Leadership Council seeks to support its members on their journey to becoming the best leaders they can be.  Based on the national Product Council model, our Leadership Council is in its eighth year of exploring and deepening our understanding of leadership skills and dynamics. If you are interested in the power of effective leadership, we invite you to join us as a member of this local council.

The goal of the Leadership Council is to create an environment for engaged sharing and learning to elevate each member’s leadership effectiveness in his or her business, community, and personal life. The Council brings together members from various stages in their careers, and through listening to each other, we gain increased awareness and insight into how to lead and positively impact any team, project, endeavor or relationship.

The Leadership Council format includes both small and large group discussions, as well as guest speakers. These discussions are interactive and thought provoking as we work through specific leadership issues, challenges, and best practices. If you commit to joining the Council, please know that your attendance and active engagement during our discussions is extremely important to you getting the most value out of the sessions, and others getting the value they expected based on the wonderfully diverse group of members we have.
