Dear ULI Los Angeles Members, Friends and Colleagues,

For the past six years I have had the unique opportunity to work with an exceptional group of ULI leaders and members both at ULI Headquarters and more importantly at the Los Angeles l District Council. Together we helped elevate the ULI-LA District Council to one of the important voices for leadership in our Community. You participated in so many aspects of Real Estate and Land Use helping provide insight and action orientated programs and events around Housing, Homelessness, Mobility, Building Healthy Places, DEI and more.

Navigating the challenges presented by the pandemic, we successfully pivoted to a virtual format, demonstrating our adaptability and resilience. I am proud that we now stand at the forefront, leading the way forward in our evolving work and living environment. We showcased Los Angeles and all its successes and challenges by sharing local projects as Case Studies, StimULI programs and during our recent Fall Meeting.

During my time as Executive Director I have been able to continue to connect and work with so many of my professional colleagues and friends, fostering both existing and new relationships. That has been a great joy for me. I have also worked with an incredible ULI-LA staff who do so much to make our District Council such a success.

I now believe that it is the right time for me to step down as Executive Director and pass the baton to new leadership. This will provide an opportunity for fresh perspectives and ideas to help our District Council continue to grow and be that important voice representing the Real Estate community.

I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition during this change of leadership. I plan on staying on while the ULI-LA leadership recruits a new Executive Director and be available to help onboard our incoming leader. And of course, I hope to remain an active ULI member, continuing to contribute to our success.
