Urban Marketplace 2022: Advancing Equity Through Infrastructure – Part II

On March 29, 2022, from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, the ULI Los Angeles Urban Marketplace was held for the 22nd consecutive year. It returned to an in-person event held at 433 S. Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles with the theme “Advancing Equity Through Infrastructure – Part II”. This program built upon the Fall 2021 Urban Marketplace discussion which focused on the historical impact of infrastructure investments on communities of color and discussed projects such as the 11th Street Bridge Park in DC and the Beltline Project in Atlanta as examples of reparative justice projects. This year’s Urban Marketplace 2022 focused on actionable next steps for industry professionals to be intentional and strategic about equitable development projects.
