What is ULI LA REACH?

The ULI LA REACH Initiative was established with the mission to increase the representation of BIPOC professionals in commercial real estate by providing the resources and networks needed to advance the careers of underrepresented  professionals.

This one-year fellowship is designed to break down barriers to entry—specifically cost and access to networks—into ULI. By doing so, the initiative increases representation for BIPOC individuals, who historically have had less access to the commercial real estate and land use professions. Through increased representation, we aim to transform the makeup of ULI and the commercial real estate industry to better reflect the communities they serve.

REACH Fellow Requirements:

• Identify as BIPOC
• Located in the LA area (in person attendance is required)
• Expressed interest in a career within the real estate development and land use industry
• One-year commitment to the fellowship
• Monthly connections with your mentor (via phone, virtual meeting, or in-person meeting)
• Mandatory attendance at in person quarterly cohort meetings and professional development workshops (Zoom)
• Involvement in co-championing one in-person quarterly meeting
• Optional, but encouraged, monthly cohort pairings and social events

REACH Fellowship Benefits:
