We believe that it is important in these challenging times to keep you informed and provide updates on our District Council activities. Keeping us connected is powerful and reminds us that as a community we are stronger than each of us are as individuals. As always, the health and wellbeing of our members is of upmost importance to our organization.
Our District Council continues to function with all our staff working remotely.
Our Staff meets via a Zoom call every morning at 9:30 am to review the work plan for the day and quickly respond to any member issues and concerns. Please reach out to any of us if you have an item you wish us to address.
This week on Wednesday and Thursday, we will be holding Zoom sessions with all our Committee and Council Chairs to update them on how to hold their regularly scheduled meetings remotely.
We are updating our ULI LA Web site https://la.uli.org/ on a regular basis with important information and links about our activities and COVID-19 impacts in general. We encourage you to check the site regularly.
On Tuesday, March 24 at 1:00 EDT, ULI’s Building Healthy Places team is hosting a webinar Slowing the Spread of COVID-19: Social Distancing and Buildings. The event is free, and all are welcome. Click here for more info.
Finally, this week we will be holding our first virtual Program Committee meeting on Wednesday at 8 am and our Advisory Board on Friday.
Please know that we are here to help and make sure we are all engaged in all the good things that ULI does for us.
Stay safe, healthy, and follow the latest advisories from the CDC.
