On Wednesday. December 16, 2020, members of the Housing Council’s Affordable Housing Sub-Committee presented a comprehensive look at affordable housing in Los Angeles.

The conversation began with a macro-level discussion of the challenges that all affordable housing developers confront and solve — site selection, entitlements, financing, construction, and ultimately lease-up.

This discussion was followed by a deeper dive into affordable housing communities that were recently completed or far along in the development timeline.
