Dear ULI Los Angeles Members and Colleagues,
As Chair of ULI Los Angeles Governance Committee, I am thrilled to announce that after a rigorous selection process that spanned three months and over 270 applicants, we have unanimously chosen Kellie Kao Miles to lead our organization into its next chapter. Kellie’s appointment is effective today, July 15, 2024.
Kellie has served as our Senior Director over the past two years. During that time, in collaboration with our member leaders and staff team, Kellie led strategic advancements in our membership engagement and retention, programs and initiatives planning, sponsorship retention and growth, and operational and financial management.
Prior to joining staff, Kellie was an active member leader of ULI Los Angeles and served as Chair of the Programs Committee and member of the Management Committee. During that period, Kellie was Managing Director of Coldwell Banker Development Marketing Group and worked on market strategy for housing developments in markets across the country.
Before entering the real estate industry, Kellie started her career in the technology sector working at IBM and then co-founded an innovative company in the hotel technology space.
Throughout her involvement with ULI, Kellie has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a deep understanding of ULI’s mission. Key strengths that set Kellie apart include:
Exceptional strategic thinking capability coupled with outstanding execution skills
Strong organizational mindset and superior operational and financial expertise

This collaborative approach, firmly rooted in ULI’s mission, will enable us to address the evolving needs of our region and industry most effectively.
Thank you for your continued dedication to ULI Los Angeles. We look forward to the exciting developments ahead under Kellie’s guidance and leadership, as we leverage the wealth of expertise within our membership and work collectively towards fulfilling ULI’s mission.
Best Regards,
