On October 6, 2020, ULI-LA had the pleasure of virtually hosting the architects and developers behind WE3 at Water’s Edge, a new creative office space in Playa Vista.
Lina Lee (CIM Group) led an in-depth conversation with Zoltan Pali (SPF:architects), Mark Greil (McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.), Matt Montgomery (Marshall Property & Development, LLC.), and John Macdonald (Rockwood Capital). Along with discussing the unique design and construction specifics of WE3’s 183,000 square foot core and shell building, which is now home to one of the largest sportswear companies in the world, the panelists also delved into trends in the current market relating to commercial office space.
The webinar began with the virtual flythrough seen below – demonstrating the precedent that WE3 sets for the future of commercial office space, and bringing to fruition the concept of the ‘Hanger in the Sky.’
