ULI Los Angeles is pleased to welcome the newest addition to our team, Michael Parada, who joins the staff as an Associate. Michael will assist the Los Angeles District Council’s staff, members and committees in their mission to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities throughout the Los Angeles Region.
Michael joins ULI with a background in the arts sector, having worked as an assistant at Gladstone Gallery in New York City, a graphic designer at Gibson Dunn, and an intern at both the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Jurassic Technology. Most recently, after moving back to Los Angeles in fall 2016, Michael worked as the interim Operations Manager for boutique interior design firm and for a community center. He received his B.A. in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Art, Culture, and Technology from Sarah Lawrence College in 2014.
Michael is eager to gain experience in the non-profit and think tank sectors, specifically in relation to land use, urban planning, design, and real estate development. Passionate about all things Los Angeles, he is looking forward to engaging with ULI’s large and varied member base. He encourages our members to introduce themselves and chat with him about their involvement with ULI.
Please join us in welcoming Michael to ULI’s Los Angeles District Council!
