ULI Los Angeles has a brand new home at the Bloc. After 4 years on the 14th floor, ULI LA has relocated 9 flights down to a space on the 5th floor overlooking the public plaza at 700 South Flower Street. Designed by the wonderful team at STIR Architecture in cooperation with Tierney Management, LLC, Suite 550 has an industrial flair with its concrete floors, exposed ceiling, and its semi-open plan. Interscape provided its construction services to build out the space.
Our new spacious home has two private offices, five work-spaces, a conference room, ample storage space, and a state of the art kitchen. Green and orange walls imbue the space with ULI spirit, while the foyer serves as an ode to real estate with a collection of Sam Zell music boxes on display. BuildGroup added the final touches to ULI LA’s new conference room with a dry-erase wall to aid in meeting presentations, with ULI’s mission statement “ULI provides leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide” prominently displayed. The communal workstation, as well as other areas in the office were furnished by Unisource Solutions.
In early March, ULI LA invited its annual sponsors and advisory board members to an open house to join in thanking everyone who contributed to the making of our great new space. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and wine, while the Zell music boxes played tunes about real estate.
ULI staff welcomes its members to stop by and see our new home whenever they are in the downtown area. If you are interested in using desk space or conference room space, please contact ULI staff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
