Each year, ULI-LA puts on ULI LA Real Estate Shark Tank, an interactive, one-of-a-kind event that aims to entertain while educating, advising, and empowering aspiring real estate developers and tech entrepreneurs. We solicit real estate investment proposals from local entrepreneurs and give them a platform to pitch their idea to the sharks.

The audience and presenter listen in as a panel of expert “Sharks” analyze seed/early stage real estate tech companies using the same methodologies typical in closed-door product pitches. “Sharks” employ their years of experience to critique proposals and give insight for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Our Sharks are representative of various backgrounds—finance, investment, users (CRE investors/developers), and technology — giving candidate(s) a comprehensive set of constructive feedback.
