The ULI LA Hospitality & Entertainment Development Council was established to explore the evolving real estate dynamics of hotels, resorts, entertainment, and cultural venues – the key sectors that shape Los Angeles as a premier global destination and drive regional economic growth. Serving as a catalyst for cross-sector collaboration, the Council will champion innovation, market resilience, and transformative investment in world-class destinations solidifying Los Angeles’s position as a global hub for tourism, culture, and destination excellence.

Through targeted programming, the Council will examine market trends, investment flows, policy shifts, workforce dynamics, sustainability priorities, and tourism’s role in driving growth. With Los Angeles’ unique global profile and cultural influence, it will provide a vital platform for exchanging best practices, fostering public-private collaboration, and guiding strategic development in this influential sector.

It will serve as both a do-tank and a think-tank, hosting convenings on industry trends, economic headwinds, development opportunities, and landmark projects in the Los Angeles pipeline. The Council will provide strategic advisory services to both the public and private sectors, leveraging the expertise of its members to deliver measurable impact. By advancing public-private collaboration to address development and tourism challenges, workforce needs, and sustainable growth priorities, HEDC will work to strengthen Los Angeles’s capacity to compete and thrive on the world stage.

Signature events will include the ULI LA Hospitality Market Trends Forum, where industry leaders explore current market dynamics, investment strategies, and emerging opportunities shaping the future of hospitality and entertainment. The Council will also host an annual breakfast panel featuring a fireside chat with a luminary or industry innovator.

Our membership will bring together innovators and decision-makers from hospitality, entertainment, tourism, design, finance, and development who share a commitment to creating destinations that captivate, engage, and endure.

The Hospitality & Entertainment Development Council fee is $200 for FY26.
