In this innovation salon with the Uncomn Projects team, we will learn about the cutting-edge trends in amenity spaces and development. Uncomn Projects was founded upon the idea that the tools and strategies used to brand and market high-end consumer products could be applied to the real estate industry by bringing life to developments and allowing projects to better connect to the residents and tenants. This salon will discuss how those tools and strategies result in the most innovative spaces in Los Angeles.

Kenya Williams
Prior to joining Uncomn Projects, Kenya spent 15 years in commercial real estate lending. Kenya was an Executive Director for the JP Morgan Real Estate Banking Group, managing the Los Angeles and Arizona markets. For 6 years Kenya was an SVP and Market Manager at PNC Bank, managing its commercial real estate business in Southern California. Prior to joining PNC, Kenya spent 7 years in Wells Fargo’s commercial real estate practice, lending to both private and public real estate investors.
Kenya received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate finance from the University of Southern California. She is one of the founding members of The Regal Group, a networking group for women in real estate, and is a member of the USC Lusk Board, ULI, City of Hope LARE Council, and ICSC. A native Californian, Kenya lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
Roger Sanchez
Roger Sanchez is the Founding Partner of Uncomn Projects. Roger manages the creative, marketing, and advertising teams, and oversees the business strategy. Before founding Uncomn Projects, Roger had several roles in the consumer and fashion marketing world. In fashion, he produced consumer trend reports for MAGIC, North America’s largest fashion trade show, which were used by global fashion houses to design consumer products, and later he consulted for e-commerce brands in digital marketing and advertising. Roger also raised venture capital and created a mobile app that brought “Uber for beauty services” into the homes, offices, and hotel rooms of Southern California’s social elites.

Roger received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in fashion marketing from Woodbury University in Burbank, California. He is a member of ULI and enjoys speaking to marketing students at universities throughout Los Angeles. A native Californian, with a family history rooted in Southern California real estate, Roger resides in Santa Monica, CA.
