    The Manufactory is a collaboration between acclaimed chefs Elisabeth Pruiett and Chad Robertson of San Francisco’s iconic Tartine Bakery, and Chris Bianco of Phoenix’s legendary Pizzeria Bianco. The ambitious facilities occupy nearly 40,000 square feet and include a full-scale commercial bakery, a market hall, two onsite restaurants, take out window, private dining area, and coffee roastery. The three chefs, all James Beard Foundation Award-winners and noted experts in their respective disciplines, are making their Los Angeles debut by creating a unique food destination that will not only welcome local food enthusiasts but also serve as a platform to support further LA area retail expansion.
     
    A behind-the-scenes guided tour will take attendees through the back of house operations of the commercial kitchen, bakery and coffee roastery below ground, as well as an overview of the distinct dining and retail areas on the main level. The panel discussion that follows will feature key members of Tartine Group and the creative team behind the project, speaking to the genesis of the project, the programming and design of such expansive facilities, the construction challenges encountered, and the future plans for the Los Angeles market. Join us for a hearty discussion on the intersection of food and design, and a delicious sampling of Tartine fare.

    Parking

    ROW DTLA is located south of Seventh Street, between Alameda Street and Central Avenue, on the edge of the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Enter the onsite parking structure from the Center Street entrance off Alameda Street, and follow the signs towards The Market at Manufactory. Small group guided tours will depart starting at 5:30PM. . Additional parking lots within three-four blocks can be located by using the Best Parking website.
