Mr. Flaherty joined Tishman Speyer in 2007 and oversees global sustainability, energy, telecom and smart building efforts for the company. In this role, he manages sustainability certifications, investor communications, worldwide performance tracking, procurement strategy and technological innovation implementation. Mr. Flaherty joined Tishman Speyer as part of the Leadership Development Program and has held various roles with the company, including in asset management and portfolio management for New York. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a legislative aide for Senator Schumer in Washington, DC. Mr. Flaherty is on the board of directors for the Building Energy Exchange and is a team leader for the ACE Mentor Program. He holds a BA in political science from Kenyon College, and an MBA and MSUP from Columbia University.

Julie Hiromoto leads integration efforts at HKS to bridge silos and connect specialized expertise with the needs of the clients and communities we serve. Her experience managing a diverse portfolio of complex and large-scale projects transforms the built environment through the application of research, systems thinking, and inclusive best practices. She balances business, design excellence and technical expertise while instilling her passion for socially and environmentally responsible design to our next generation of leaders through mentoring. Her experience includes complex and large-scale commercial, residential, and mixed-use towers (including One World Trade Center), hospitality and corporate headquarter interiors, and urban design master planning. She has worked across the US in California, Pennsylvania, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and most extensively in New York City and on projects in Mexico City. As a Project Manager, Designer and Senior Technical Architect, Ms. Hiromoto has specialized in curtain walls and sustainable, energy efficient design. She pursued her passion for socially responsible design and the integration of research in practice, with her work launching the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology (CASE). Ms. Hiromoto is a recognized leader in the local and national sustainable design community. She is a member of the AIA COTE Leadership Group and was the 2020 Chair. She chaired the Large Firm Roundtable Sustainability Group for several years, and volunteers as a Living Future Ambassador. Julie taught at NYU’s Shack Institute of Real Estate from 2009-2018 and influenced the curriculum for the Sustainable Design Certificate program. She was invited to join the inaugural Dean’s Adjunct Advisory Group in 2015. In addition to lecturing internationally at conferences and General Electric’s Executive Leadership Development Retreat, her dedication to mentoring future architects has led to frequent guest critic invitations at institutions such as Columbia University, University of Michigan, Georgia Tech, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Parsons The New School of Design, and Pratt Institute. Hiromoto advocates for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and has spoken at numerous events on this topic. Julie completed a BS ARCH at Georgia Tech summa cum laude and MARCH, with highest honor, from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Presentation (GSAPP). A Registered Architect, Hiromoto is also LEED, WELL, and Living Future Accredited and a member of the AIA College of Fellows.

Linda Isaacson leads Ferguson Partners’ Global Innovation and Technology practice out of the firm’s New York office. Her practice concentrates on innovation, digital transformation, disruptive technologies and other trends impacting the real estate, hospitality, senior housing, infrastructure, engineering and construction industries. A proven initiator and strategic thinker, Linda has a well-documented record of success in senior management, advanced analytics, competitive strategies and business intelligence. She focuses on aligning C-Suite and Board leadership with cutting-edge technologies and creative processes that will drive the next wave of disruption in the built environment, including the innovation and digitization that impacts Big Data, PropTech, FinTech and ConTech. Her prior role in executive management for a Fortune 500 company focused on driving revenue growth through predictive analytics and technological initiatives. Linda is a ULI Global Governing Trustee and on the Board of the ULI AmericaLs Executive Committee. She also serves as Chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Global Exchange Council; Member of ULI’s New York Real Estate Technology and Innovation Council. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Boston University, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Aresty Institute of Executive Education in “Business Analytics: From Data To Insights.”

Derek Wilson is Head of Sustainability at Transport for London Commercial Development, where he leads Transport for London’s efforts around economic development, environmental stewardship, and social impact across its 5,700 acre property estate. A chartered surveyor and transport-oriented development specialist with degrees in land economics and sustainable urban development, Derek has been responsible for the creation of the TfL Sustainable Development Framework and the zero carbon pathway it has enabled for a property development portfolio of more than £10 Bn. Derek currently sits on ULI Europe's Urban Regeneration Council. He additionally serves as a Trustee of the UK Green Building Council, as Chair of the Green Finance Institute’s Green Rental Agreements Committee, and as an expert advisor to New London Architecture on the issue of net zero carbon.
