Sold Out: Luminaries Reception with Wayne Ratkovich
Exclusive Full Member and VIP Reception
It’s not every day you get to have cocktails with a real-estate visionary.
Wayne Ratkovich, President/CEO of The Ratkovich Company, has preserved and revitalized more Los Angeles landmarks than anyone else in the city.
These historic properties include architectural gems such as the Oviatt and Fine Art buildings in downtown Los Angeles, the Wiltern Theatre, USPS’s Terminal Annex Building and the Chapman Market. The company recently transformed 11 historic buildings that were home to the Hughes Aircraft Company, including the enormous “Spruce Goose” hangar where Hughes constructed the famous Hercules airplane. Ratkovich’s project has been named the Hercules Campus and is on forefront of Southern California’s tech and creative space explosion, with the recent signing of YouTube as a major tenant.
It’s all part of the company’s 15 million square feet of office, retail, entertainment and residential projects including 17 buildings that are listed or eligible for listing on the National Register for Historic Places.
When you speak to Wayne, you will understand why this thoughtful, highly engaged person has served as a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute for 21 years and is an Emeritus Trustee of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Wayne also received the Legends Award from The Los Angeles Downtown Breakfast Club and the UCLA / Los Angeles Times 2001 Real Estate Award for exceptional contributions to the real estate industry and the community.
We look forward to seeing you at our Luminaries event.
Last year, Wayne was selected to become a ULI Life Trustee – an honor, reserved for an elite category ULI’s most dedicated and respected members.
