Sold Out! ULI LA Engages the Regional Planning Process: LA River Master Plan
Perhaps once or twice in a generation, a planning vision comes forward with the power to transformationally change the experience of living in our region. That current vision may be the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan, a proposal to transform the Los Angeles River flood control channel into a continuous 51-mile parkway through diverse communities from Warner Center to Long Beach, creating unparalleled recreational, environmental and economic development opportunities along the way.
Join ULI/LA in the second of a continuing series of professional workshops on the region’s most significant community and regional planning efforts moderated by County Planning Director Richard Bruckner and Katten Muchin’s Allan Abshez. At our workshop, Carol Armstrong of the Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering and Omar Brownson of the River Revitalization Corporation will present the Plan to receive ULI member’s professional input and critique. This will a unique opportunity to learn and to share your views, wisdom and insight with principal Plan leadership in an informal setting, as well as to become involved in the River Plan on behalf of ULI as the Plan moves forward.
