ULI LA Assists with Arts Incubator Planning in Pacoima

Thanks to a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, ULI Los Angeles is pleased to continue assisting our local partners in Pacoima in creating a healthier Van Nuys Boulevard, under the auspices of ULI’s national Healthy Corridors program. Toolbox for Building Healthy Communities

ULI Los Angeles is pleased to announce the publication of its Healthy Community Implementation Toolbox, a resource and guide for a wide variety of users that have the potential to address community health. Healthy Corridors Report Released

ULI is pleased to announce the publication of Building Healthy Corridors: Transforming Urban and Suburban Arterials into Thriving Places. Resulting from a two-year project that involved partnerships with four communities in the United States, including Los Angeles, this report explores strategies for transforming commercial corridors into places that support the health of the people who live, work, and travel along them. Demonstrating Healthy Corridors in Pacoima

An article and video published in Urban Land, the magazine of the Urban Land Institute, highlight the recent efforts of ULI Los Angeles members and partners to transform Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima in health-promoting ways.
