ULI Los Angeles has a brand new home at the Bloc. After 4 years on the 14th floor, ULI LA has relocated 9 flights down to a space on the 5th floor overlooking the public plaza at 700 South Flower Street. Designed by the wonderful team at STIR Architecture in cooperation with Tierney Management, LLC, Suite 550 has an industrial flair with its concrete floors, exposed ceiling, and its semi-open plan. “Make a deal, make a difference” was the apt theme of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Los Angeles’ 18th annual Urban Marketplace conference and expo, which featured a broad range of topics having to do with the convergence of policy, partnerships and equity. Marty Borko Named New ULI Los Angeles Executive Director

ULI Los Angeles, a District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), has named Marty Borko its new Executive Director. Borko will leave his post as Principal at Gensler in Los Angeles to command the day-to-day workings and long-range planning of one of ULI’s largest and most active regional chapters.
