District Council Impact at the Local Level

One of ULI’s great success stories is the district/national Council network and its extraordinary capacity to help its members deliver the ULI mission at the local level. Just 15 years ago, ULI had only five district Councils. As of October 2013, we have 71 district and national Councils worldwide with more than 30,000 members. Last fiscal year, they delivered over 1,100 programs attended by more than 70,000 people. ULI LA Receives Grant from ULI Foundation

CHICAGO (November 5, 2013) — Seventeen grants totaling $250,000 have been awarded to Urban Land Institute (ULI) district and national councils through ULI’s Urban Innovation Grant program. The recipients were announced today at ULI’s Fall Meeting in Chicago. Funding for the program is provided by the ULI Foundation’s Annual Fund, which supports local ULI projects that recognize or launch innovative public-private partnerships that advance the responsible use of land in building healthy, thriving communities worldwide.
