Opening Session

At the Crossroads: Transportation and Development will explore case studies from Koreatown to the San Fernando Valley. The discussion will highlight new construction and adaptive reuse projects along transit corridors with transportation leaders and developers sharing their perspectives.

Featuring:

  • William Fulton, Founder of the California Planning and Development Report in 1986 and author of the LA Times bestseller, The Reluctant Metropolis: The Politics of Urban Growth in Los Angeles, will be moderating the panel discussion.

Doors to the roundtable and exhibit hall open immediately following the opening session, and participants are invited to join any and all of the subject-focused roundtable discussions. Each is hosted by an expert practitioner and/or civic leader and participants are encouraged to discuss issues and opportunities from their own experience as they rotate among these vibrant, informal dialogues.
