Join us for a case study of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center expansion, followed by a hard hat tour of the new Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, currently under construction at the corner of San Vicente and Gracie Allen. The new Pavilion is the latest building to be constructed under a 30-year Master Plan for the the Medical Center campus, originally approved by the City of Los Angeles with a Zone Change and a Development Agreement in 1993.  The new building, designed by global firm HOK, will house clinical care, outpatient procedures, and scientific research, as well as six levels of parking.  The speakers will discuss the flexible nature of the Master Plan approval process, the changing health care needs of the patient populations, and the ways the Master Plan and the Pavilion are responding to those changing needs.

This is a hard hat tour. Please wear closed toe, hard soled shoes.

Speakers

  • Zeke Triana, Cedars Sinai, Director, Campus-Wide Facilities Planning Design and Construction
  • Bob Cull, Cedars Sinai, Executive Project Director for the Pavilion
  • Jeffrey Haber, Paul Hastings, land use attorneys for Cedars-Sinai
  • Ernest Cirangle,  HOK, Design Principal for the Pavilion

Parking is located in Parking lot #4. Please see attached map for specific locations.
