Report predicts CA high-speed rail would create jobs and boost L.A.-Orange County economy

The proposal to build a high-speed rail system in California has the potential to create more than 127,000 permanent jobs in the Los Angeles-Orange County area by 2035 and contribute to the economic revitalization of the region, according to a new study by UC Irvine. Read the full article here.

Panel proposes permanent supportive housing for homeless population
